Long Furby Body Sewing Pattern and Tutorial

If you've ever wanted to make your own Long Friend without using any original Furby toy parts, this is the pattern for you! Included are pattern pieces for the head, ears and feet, a cutting guide for the body and a 20+ page tutorial with each step fully illustrated with photos.

Instructions for making a faceplate are NOT included, however there are links to buy reproduction faceplates on Etsy.

With this pattern you can create a Long Friend of really almost any length, but the tutorial focuses on creating the 120cm (4ft) colour block stripe friend pictured. It also includes an alternate cutting guide for a single colour plush that only uses a 'fat quarter' of fur! Instructions include cutting, sewing, inserting an armature wire 'spine' and stuffing. My method of attaching a handmade faceplate is also included.

The pattern and tutorial are in A4 format. All measurements are in metric (cm/mm). Please use a converter if you work in inches.
