Fursuit Monster Claw Puffy Paws Sewing Pattern and Tutorial

These paws are perfect for creating your dream fluffy or feathery monster, giant sloth, dinosaur, dragon or any other creature from your imagination! You can match them with a fursuit, or wear them as part of a costume or street fashion outfit.

The finished paws will best fit a glove size of S-L, with a band best suiting a forearm circumference up to 28cm/11". They are fully lined and padded with a small amount of filling to give them shape and a perfect fit. The paws are symmetrical and your fingers sit just inside the base of the claws and you can move them like fingers! Note that these paws do require lining and this step can't be skipped in the making! This project can easily be completed in a weekend by a confident sewist.

The sample paws photographed use luxury long pile faux furs and I recommend a thick, long pile fabric for best results! I have used minky for the claws and a soft cotton jersey for the lining.
